Tanzania Association of Wichita

The Association is now is in full swing and is aggressively challenging the Tanzania diaspora community to respond to changes taking place in Tanzania. Many members are actively collaborating with the local Wichita and US population to look for opportunities towards helping those in need both in the United States and Tanzania. This year alone,not only did association members visit local area elementary schools to share with them their Tanzania and African experiences during Black History Month but also engaged in activities such as essay competitions for Tanzania school children and collecting donations to send to Tanzania orphanages.
