Investment club

Overview:

TaWichita investment club is an initiative derived from the vision of Tanzania Association of Wichita. We intend to bring people together to discuss and educate each other in the areas of business and investments. We plan to invite people with different expertise to share their knowledge with members of the group.

We also are planning to hold proxy initiatives such as

Workshops.
Conferences.
Partnering with organization (Public and Private sector)
Analysis of current event (Investment, business, economy)

Mission statement:

“Combining talent and money to improve the lives of one’s fellow men and women”

Vision:

To be the number one Investment club in the Tanzania Diaspora Communities.

Membership is open to public.

Funding:

All funding is coming from TaWichita investment club (donation, fees)

Meeting:

We intend to meet last Saturday of the month.

NOTE: during our first meeting, we are going to discuss the issue how are we going to conduct our meetings.

Engineering Club

       A:   NAME:  ENGINEERING CLUB OF TAWICHITA – STEMSTEM: - SCIENCE, TECHNOLOGY, ENGINEERING AND MATHEMATICS.

MEMBERS  – ANYONE who is interested, means Tanzanian and non Tanzanian citizen

            B:    OUR MISSION STATEMENT

              A network for STEM members, in and out of Kansas, where all together will

                 share our experience and knowledge, all together will promote, inspire,

                 Support, and advice our community (Tawichita and Tanzania).

 C:   ENGINEERING CLUB ROLE IN SOCIETY (TAWICHITA

       AND TANZANIA

 1:  Create and support new Technology (Projects), affordable for most people

       In Tanzania.

 2:   Advice young generation, to join STEM.

 3:   Support new generation of STEM, by giving books, pens, uniform, e.t.c.

 4:   Inspire new generation of STEM, by telling them, real story and example, how

       To achieve in STEM. This can be done, by some members visiting their former,

       Primary school, secondary schools, or colleges back home, and talk to the                              

       Students about STEM.               

5.    Support TAWICHITA members, in issues related to STEM, example,

       advice in technology, e. t. c

6.    HELP each other to advance and achieve our goals in STEM

Social Club Overview

Overview:

The social club is established in 2009 for the purpose of keeping members and non members involved in social related issues.  These events include those initiated by the Tanzania Association or general public events of interest to club members and non members.   The following are some of the activities involved:

•    Collectively watching major sports events (both pay per view and non pay per view)

•    Different types of fun family activities

•    Coordinating various entertainment events

•    Coordinate travel to major professional sporting events to neighboring cities (NFL,NBA)

•    Coordinating local sports events

Mission Statement:

“To promote the well-being, enhance the quality of life, and encourage socializing and relaxing events for individuals.  Events include physical, mental, and social activities and community outreach for club members.”
